The World Medical and Health Games have become the most famous world health event open to members of the medical and health professions since its inception in 1978.
Limerick with its magnificent University parkland and riverside campus and superb sports facilities is the host city for the 36th MEDIGAMES. Limerick is famous for it’s sporting heritage, hosting large scale sporting events and is home of Munster Rugby and Thomond Park Stadium.
The Games are an opportunity for participants of all levels to compete together and to play their favourite sports in a superb atmosphere of friendship and excitement. Each year up to 2,000 people take part in this fantastic sporting and professional gathering, representing over 40 countries, all in the spirit of the Olympics, for the beauty of sport and the benefit of effort
The event includes a sports medicine symposium.
The prices listed in the brochure are based on a 5 night stay and there is a discount of €200 for Irish citizens.
The fee for 1 day participation is €50.00.
