Queens University Belfast is delighted to host a special event, the Pan-Ireland Ophthalmology Day, to celebrate World Sight Day 2022.
World Sight Day and Pan-Ireland Ophthalmology Day run annually and focus attention on the global issue of avoidable blindness and visual impairment.
The events will concentrate on blinding eye diseases and will feature presentations from a host of guest lecturers who are all experts in their field both in clinical and basic science.
On Friday 14th October 2022, Professor Bernie Chang, President of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and Mr Tim Fulcher, President of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists will speak at this special event.
A dedicated Patient Engagement Day will take place on Saturday, 15th October.
