European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) Annual Lecture 2019

Ms Patricia Logan, European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) Board Member and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Beaumont Hospital and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin is pictured with Ms Claire Hartnett, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Temple Street Childrens University Hospital, Dublin who presented the SOE Lecture 2019 on the topic Retinopathy of Prematurity. Ms Hartnett delivered the SOE Lecture at the Annual Conference of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists, which took place at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill from the 15th-17th May. Her talk included a focus on Anti-VEGF versus laser treatment for ROP, the benefits and contraindications of each and the emerging research and international guidelines for treatment of the condition.
