The European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) will host its biennial meeting from June 7-9, 2025, in Lisbon, Portugal.

SOE 2025 is a multi-specialty congress, for the general & specialist ophthalmologist, with updates on all specialties and excellent content for residents.

Submit your Abstract now

Submit an abstract to SOE 2025 and present your work to an international delegation of experts and your peers. Abstracts enable you to share your professional ophthalmic research and experiences to an engaged audience.

Abstract submission deadline: 15 January 2025

Bayer Pharmaceuticals is kindly offering sponsorship to an ophthalmology trainee or doctor in Ireland with a strong interest in the field, covering registration, travel, and accommodation to present their work at the conference. Eligible applicants must have an accepted abstract (poster or presentation) which may be either scientifically or clinically based and is not restricted to retina. Applications for the SOE close on January 15, 2025.
