Montgomery Lecture 2024
Prof Robert Scott will deliver the Montgomery Lecture 2024.
Prof Scott is a former Royal Air Force consultant at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC) and Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM) at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, sub-specialising in eye trauma, advanced cataract and vitreoretinal surgery.
He served as the Royal Air Force and Defence Medical Services Consultant Advisor for Ophthalmology for a decade and was appointed as the Defence Medical Services and Royal College of Ophthalmologists Professor of Ophthalmology in 2012 and honorary Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Birmingham in 2015.
